Poppo agency requirements

Opening the agency takes ten minutes. Keeping it is the part worth reading about. These are the conditions Poppo sets, what happens when you fall short of them, and the exact rules covering a host who wants to leave.

Nine conditions

The rules you have to keep

Minimum age18 or older

You, and every host you recruit. No exceptions and no grey area.

Minimum hosts5 active hosts

Active means genuinely streaming, not merely registered.

Minimum hours10 hours a week

Streamed between your hosts, not per host.

One per personOne agency only

You cannot run two registered agencies under your own name.

No poachingNo recruiting from rival agencies

Hosts already signed to another Poppo agency are off limits.

No outside promotionNo third-party platforms

You cannot advertise other apps or services inside Poppo.

Active managementSupport your team

Agencies are expected to monitor and help their hosts and sub-agents, not just collect commission.

Account securityProtect your login

A compromised agency account is your responsibility, including anything done with it.

Content standardsKeep it clean

No nudity, sexual content, hate speech, illegal activity or misleading claims. Enforcing this across your hosts is your job.

The part nobody writes about

What happens if your hosts stop streaming

Drop below five active hosts or ten streaming hours a week and your agency is at risk of deactivation. It does not happen after one quiet week but if it carries on, you lose the agency and the commission that came with it.

Hosts leave. People get busy, lose interest, or move to another platform. Recruiting once and stopping does not work; you have to keep bringing new hosts in just to stay level. Plan for that in month one rather than discovering it in month three.

Can a host leave your agency?

Yes, but only through specific routes. Poppo sets these, not the agency. Knowing them is the difference between planning for turnover and being blindsided by it.

Without your approval

A host can leave on their own if either applies:

  • They joined your agency within the last 24 hours
  • They have not completed face authentication

Practical takeaway: get new hosts through face authentication early. After that first day, the relationship is settled.

Through the reactivation event

Poppo periodically runs a Host Reactivation Event that lets long-inactive hosts end their cooperation with an agency. A host can apply if they meet one of these:

  • Been with the agency six months or more, and their livestream level is below 4
  • Earned under 10,000 points in the past six months, excluding platform rewards

Agents cannot participate in this event only hosts can apply. The event runs in selected regions, currently including India, the Philippines, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Canada.

Current event window: 5 July – 8 September 2026. Dates change; check the app for the live one.

Host recall request

Outside those two routes, a host has to submit their reasons and evidence to the Poppo Help Center, and the official team reviews the case.

Hosts below Level 10 must put down a 50,000-point deposit to file the request. It is refunded if the request is rejected.

The honest read on this

Every one of these routes opens when a host has gone quiet or never really started. An agency losing hosts to the reactivation event is an agency whose hosts stopped streaming months ago. The rules are not really your problem inactivity is.

Which is the whole job, in the end. Recruiting is easy; keeping five people streaming ten hours a week is what decides whether you still have an agency next year. If you want a second opinion on whether your hosts are on track, send us a message.

Happy with the requirements?

Five hosts, ten hours a week. If that sounds workable, registration is the next step.
